Shipping & Returns

What are the shipping costs to my country and how long will the delivery take?

The prices listed on our website are in EUR € including the statutory VAT of 19%.

All orders are shipped from Germany with DHL worldwide climate neutral and in environmentally friendly reusable packaging.

We can deliver to any proper address within the Federal Republic of Germany, the EU, Switzerland, the USA or any other country of your choice. Within Germany we also deliver to packing stations.
If your country is not selectable in our store, please send us an email. We will then give you the necessary information to make shipping possible!

Shipping costs apply to every order and are added to the value of goods in the shopping cart.

You will be informed about the shipment with a tracking email. Please use the tracking feature to ensure that your TIPI BEACH purchase arrives to you without any problems. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder.

Of course, you will also receive your invoice by e-mail, which saves resources.

What is the delivery time based on?

The delivery time indicated is the standard delivery time provided by our shipping partner. These are needed on average to deliver your package from us to you. In rare cases, delays may occur.

What is the delivery time of my order based on if I purchase both stock and pre-order items?

To make shipping sustainable, we avoid partial deliveries of orders that include items with different delivery times. This is the case, for example, with an order that contains both stock and pre-order items.

Please note that the estimated delivery time will then be based on the item with the longest delivery time that we have confirmed to you in the order confirmation.

Who has to pay for duties, taxes and fees?

Your order may be subject to import taxes, duties and fees. These will be charged to you additionally by your local government upon shipment delivery.
We are not liable for these costs and unfortunately they cannot be reimbursed.

If you are unsure of the cost and do not know if you will be affected, please contact your local customs office for more information on duties and taxes in your country.

Please also note that for customs reasons we cannot accept orders outside the EU that are over 1000 € purchase value.

There are no customs duties within the EU.

Can I change my order later?

Unfortunately, orders placed cannot be changed afterwards.

Therefore, please always check your details and your shopping cart carefully before you finally place your order.

If something does go wrong, please email us at aloha@tipi-beach.com so that we can help you as quickly and smoothly as possible.

How can I exchange my order?

Unfortunately, we can not directly exchange your delivered order.

If you need a different size, color or model, we ask you to place a new order directly in our online store.

Please send the goods you have already received back to us as a return.

How can I return my order as a return?

In order to be able to clarify your request as quickly and smoothly as possible, please write us an e-mail in advance: aloha@tipi-beach.com

For a return, please send your TIPI BEACH item back to us insured with tracking. You bear the return shipping costs.

Please enclose a note with your return, stating your order number, your item and the reason. This way your return can be processed even faster.

Returns from non-EU countries must have the invoice attached to the outside of the package and must also be clearly marked as RETOURE. Otherwise, import duties may apply.

To save resources, please use our shipping box again.

As soon as we have received and processed your return, the purchase price will be refunded to the payment method selected at the time of purchase. Please allow up to 14 days for the return of your order including your credit.

Please note that no returns or exchanges are possible for SALE products as well as gift certificates. TIPI BEACH products can only be returned if they are unworn, unwashed and in their original condition with all labels attached within 14 days.

Therefore, always try on our products only with and over your own underwear. Thank you!

 

Do I have to pay for my return?

Yes, you are responsible for the shipping costs of your return.

We recommend that you use an insured shipping method. This is the only way you can track the package and make sure it gets to us. Unfortunately, we cannot refund items that are lost on their way back to us. In this case, however, you have a claim for damages against the shipping company you have chosen.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds on items that can be shown to no longer be in their original unworn condition.

How soon will I get my refund?

Refunds will be processed within 14 days after we receive the goods. The credit will be issued to the payment method you previously used.

Why hasn't my money been refunded yet?

Once we have received and processed your return, we will refund the amount to the payment method you used to make the purchase. If you paid with your credit card, the amount will be returned there. With most credit cards, it may take a little time for the amount to show up on your statement. The open amounts are settled once a month and only appear on your account afterwards. Most of the time, billing is done at the end or on the 15th of the month.

Also with Paypal and other payment providers it can take a few days until the refund is visible on your account.

Duties, taxes and other charges will not be refunded in the event of a return.

Payment

What payment methods are available?

You can pay by bank transfer | prepayment, PayPal, credit card, Klarna and Giropay.

 

How do the individual payment methods work?

BANK TRANSFER | PREPAYMENT
You transfer directly to our bank account. Please use the order number as reason for payment.

PAYPAL
You will be securely redirected to PayPal and can pay your order with your account or other options.

 

Through our payment provider STRIPE the following additional payment options are available to you:

CREDIT CARD
You can easily pay online with some credit cards. We accept Visa, Mastercard & Maestro.

KLARNA
We will safely redirect you to Klarna, here you can pay your order.

GIROPAY
If you are located in Germany, we will safely redirect you to Giropay and here you can pay for your order.

 

What does "bank transfer | prepayment" mean for my delivery?

The payment option “Bank transfer | Prepayment” means that we process and ship your order only after receipt of payment. I.e. only when we could book your transfer on our bank account, your order goes into further processing and then into the shipment.

Please note that the delivery time starts after your money has been credited to our account.

Can bank charges apply?

Please note that if you pay in advance, you may incur bank charges, which you will have to pay. This is usually the case with foreign transfers.

Duties, taxes and other charges will not be refunded in the event of a return.

Are there any coupons & codes? Where do you enter them?

Subscribe to our NEWSLETTER and enjoy benefits.

Sometimes these come in the form of coupons and include a code to redeem.

You have to enter the code in the checkout process and we will then deduct the value from the order amount.

Please understand that we as a sustainable label of course can not and do not want to deliver discount battles.

Nevertheless, we will of course spoil you from time to time!

 

Are there e-gift cards and how do they work?

We are working on offering you a TIPI BEACH e-gift card as soon as possible.

You can then decide for yourself how much credit you want to give away – our e-gift card should start at just 39 euros. A personal code will be sent to you directly by e-mail after ordering.

To redeem, the recipient must enter the code at checkout in the checkout process and we will deduct the value of the gift card from the order amount.

Please understand that gift cards cannot be paid out in cash nor refunded.

 

SIZES & STYLES

Will a sold out item be available again?

Even if an item or your size is currently sold out, it does not mean that it will no longer be available.

To counteract the problem of overproduction and waste of resources, we intentionally produce in small quantities.
This can lead to a supply bottleneck more quickly, which we will gladly accept in the spirit of sustainability. Please support us in this case with your understanding and patience. The wait will be worth it in the long run for you, for us and for our planet. Thank you!

We are working on integrating an availability tool into our webshop. Then you can leave your e-mail for all products that are produced again, to be notified immediately when they are available again.

Does a style always turn out the same in its fit?

The same style should always sit the same in all variations and colors. However, this can be somewhat affected by both the use of different fabric qualities and even the dyeing process of the same fabric.

In fact, due to the dyeing process, different colors turn out differently. Light colors are softer and therefore a bit more elastic while dark colors like black and blue are firmer and therefore tighter and feel smaller.

How do I find the right size for me?

When dry, our models must fit like a second skin, snugly when tried on. In the water, the fit relaxes and gives a little. When dry, it then sits like a second skin again.

What material is used for TIPI BEACH beach & swimwear?

TIPI BEACH swimwear is sewn exclusively from Carvico’s high-quality Italian fabric VITA, which is made of 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon and 22% spandex.
ECONYL® regenerated nylon is derived from 100% nylon waste, transforming waste problems into sustainable solutions.
More precisely, ECONYL® consists of 50% post-consumer nylon waste, such as fishing nets and carpet lint, and 50% pre-consumer nylon waste, such as industrial plastics.

You’ll love our fabric for its versatility and comfort as much as we do. Thanks to its innovative design, it is twice as resistant to chlorine and salt water, as well as sunscreens and oils, than other fabrics. It also offers you a high shape retention and a very high sun protection (UPF 50+).

All our fabrics and components are certified to Oekotex® 100 standard, which means they are free of harmful and toxic chemicals.

Care tips

How do I properly care for my TIPI BEACH treasures?

It is very important to us that you enjoy your TIPI BEACH treasure for a long time and that it remains beautiful for many years!

Please wash your TIPI BEACH swimwear therefore best by hand. Rarely in the washing machine and highest at 30 degrees on the delicate cycle. Use environmentally friendly mild detergent. To avoid microplastic waste, we recommend you use a GUPPYFRIEND wash bag.

If possible, rinse your TIPI BEACH darling thoroughly with clear water directly after bathing in salt or chlorinated water. After that, please dry in partial shade and not in direct sun, so that the colors and fibers are protected. Longer enjoyment of your treasure is thus guaranteed.
