Meet TIPI BEACH Babe MIA!

Feb 14, 2022

Meet Miriam (Mia), a very special and brave woman. We are still overwhelmed by her great character – open, helpful and reliable. Photographer, girlfriend, model scout, women’s rights activist and much more. It has already literally gone through thick and thin. You can best understand why and how on their social media channels.

We serve you a little taste here.

TB: Where did you grow up? What was your childhood like? Mia: I grew up in different parts of my childhood in the rainforest of the eastern coast of Australia, in a prefabricated building in Hannover and in the countryside between Hannover and Hildesheim. Very mixed, as you can already hear now. My childhood was characterized by multicultural influences, both from the family side, as well as through my nanny, furthermore by many trips to the riding stable, later many train rides across Lower Saxony in search of action and the desire to see the world that always arose in me.

What are the three words your friends/your parents would use to describe you? Loving, brave, caring

Which three words would you use yourself? Open, friendly, thoughtful

Why are you doing the job you are doing today? Because I fell in love with him 12 years ago. At the time, my lecturer gave me a model, a lamp and a camera and just said ‘Go for it’. For a long time I had a lot of respect for photography and didn’t think I could do it myself, but since I took his challenge, it just wouldn’t let me go. Most of all I love to do ‘good’ with my photography and move away from ‘superficial pretty pictures’. If I can trigger something greater in my counterpart while looking at it, it makes me infinitely happy. To show someone your beauty, to create images that empower people, that’s what fulfills me.

What has been your biggest project so far? Myself.

What do you like to do most in your free time? Doing my job, being in nature, visiting concerts or exhibitions, talking to people.

If you could meet one famous person – living or dead: Who would it be and why? There is no one there. I’ve never had a ‘famous role model’ or anything like that. When I was asked who inspires me, it was always my mother. Fortunately, she’s still alive, too.

What are the three things that really drive you up the wall? Dalliances, lies and the systems that rule our lives every day.

If you could change one thing in the world: What would it be? I would like to see fair circumstances for everyone and erase discrimination. Just like that. By click. As if people had never learned it.

What three things in your life are you most grateful for? The crises that I have grown from, the strengths that I have been able to discover in the process, and being aware of my privileges.

What question have you not had an answer to lately and have you been able to find it? ‘What do I want to happen next for me?’

What could you not do without in your life? Inspiration

Is there a song that always makes you want to start dancing right away? One?!

If your life was made into a movie: Who would play you? There we go again with that celebrity thing. I have absolutely no idea. I would give anyone who could identify with me a chance to be cast.

What would you get up in the middle of the night for? My doggy and my humans.

What decision in your life would you want to reverse in retrospect? Not a single one.

Do you have a bucket list? If so, what does this look like? What do you still want to experience/see? Why haven’t you done it yet? None advertised. There are many places that I would like to see, but travel is known to be very expensive and currently also not possible in the sense. Therefore, that will have to wait a bit. I definitely want to live in Amsterdam for a while though. The point is safe.
